Large green space near the National Highway with a jogging track and the state's biggest tricolor flagpole; pleasant for a morning walk if you're staying nearby, not an attraction to detour for.
Developed by the Jaipur Development Authority and opened in 2006, it is the largest park in the city at roughly 130 acres, situated near Statue Circle and the Rambagh Polo Grounds. Statue Circle itself, at the park's edge, was erected in 1967 to mark the 250th anniversary of Jaipur's founding and features a marble statue of Sawai Jai Singh II holding an astrological instrument, honoring his role as founder and astronomer. The park is also known for its 206-foot national flagpole, among the tallest in India, added as a later civic landmark rather than a historical feature.
