A government-run recreation building with a pool table, indoor games, and boating - dated and underwhelming compared to the outdoor options nearby. Only useful as a rainy-day filler with kids.
Established in 1985 by the Himachal Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation on the banks of the Manalsu stream, a tributary of the Beas, the Club House was built as a British colonial-style recreation retreat offering indoor games, a bar, library and auditorium to visitors. It reflects the broader HPTDC push through the 1980s to develop state-run tourist infrastructure across Himachal's hill stations as domestic tourism to Manali expanded. It continues to operate as a state-managed recreational facility, one of the older organized leisure institutions in the Old Manali area.
